Vision & Ethos

At Alvanley and Manley Village School we aim to provide the best education possible for all of our children. We firmly stand behind our ethos of “Together We Nurture, Inspire and Achieve”, strong relationships being the cornerstone to successful learning.

Being a small village school over two sites we pride ourselves on knowing each child really well. This helps us not only to tailor our teaching, but also to identify areas of strength where potential can be identified and developed.

We believe in teaching the whole child and we are committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum where children get to experience and enjoy all subjects. We also enhance our provision with our after-school clubs where children can explore new challenges and residential visits where children can develop their confidence, resilience and communication skills.

Our aim is to create well-rounded, confident individuals with the skills to succeed in whichever sphere life takes them.

We never forget that our children are at the heart of everything we do, from their first tentative step into our Reception class to the confident stride with which they leave us in year 6, and we know that with our nurture and inspiration they will continue to achieve!
